Meet our coaches  

Meet our coaching team – all of whom are volunteers dedicated to the participation and sport of amateur boxing at all levels.

Chris Andrews
Coach Level 2 – Club Secretary
Chris founded the club in 1977. Since then, he has taken the club from strength to strength and introduced hundreds of people into the world of amateur boxing. Chris is a Level 2 Coach and an England Boxing official (timekeeper, judge, referee, supervisor). He has dedicated nearly 40 years to promoting the sport within Droitwich and the surrounding areas.
Jayson Doyle
Coach Level 2
Jayson started boxing as a 7-year-old in 1977 and has been part of the club ever since. After boxing throughout his childhood and senior years, he is now a Level 1 Coach and trains the squad groups with success of supporting boxers at a national level.

Jeff Adams
Coach Level 2
As a youngster, Jeff boxed for amateur clubs. In 2008 he joined the club as a trainer and completed his Level 1 coaching award the following year. Jeff obtained his Level 2 badge in 2013 and has been a vital addition to the coaching team since then with the overseeing of squad groups and the delivery of one-to-one sessions providing him with most enjoyment.

Jason Anderson
Coach Level 1
Jason boxed for the club as a teenager and returned to the club as a Level 1 Coach in 2007. He enjoys working with all groups but is a favourite of the seniors and takes great satisfaction from watching the journey that a boxer experiences from beginner to competitor.

Bethany Trueman
Coach Level 2
Beth has been a registered boxer since 2011. As a Level 2 Coach, she enjoys coaching the Paperweight sessions, female groups and boxercise and boxing fitness sessions. Beth also delivers boxing in schools and delivers NOCN qualifications through a 16 to 19-year-old Traineeship Programme.
Kate Trimmer
Coach Level 2
Kate has been part of the club for over 20 years. A Level 2 Coach and fitness instructor, she enjoys taking the female groups and offering support to all club members.
